I fucking love Jason and anything he gets into musically. This is his new project. He's taken some time off from Chem D to do something a little bit more fun for him. Since creating The Semi Originals he seems to be having a lot more fun playing shows and working at his Studio, Town Center Music, in Easton.
The Semi Original take some of the best songs the radio has to offer and turning them into punk rock songs for all of us punk rockers to get into. They take some of the greatest songs from punk rockers past like Billy Joel and songs from current pop hit radio like Adele and fusing in their style of punk rock.
I've been stoked on The Semi Original for awhile now. We booked Chem D for a show we were playing and when they showed up Jason said he wanted to play a set of Chem D and they unveil his new, more fun, band. What we got to see was the debut of The Semi Originals and we could not have been happier for them. Congrats guys! We look forward to hearing a lot more of your take on popular music!
