Scrap Kids

Driv.In.By
We've been working on getting all of the Driv.in.by stuff together for months. They are a band that truly put passion into the coal region music scene back in the early 2000's. We added them to the comp because we'll be adding as much as we can from them over the next couple of months. They are no longer together but you can check out From Philly and For Ages. The band split up into those two bands over the last few years after forming the popular band Young Livers.

For Ages
We're so excited to have these guys on the compilation this year. John and were friends of Driv.in.by since we were teenagers. We've been able to hear them evolve over the years. Now with For Ages they've created a new sound still full of the hypnotic melodies we're used to but with some of the best lyrics ever. This guys are fucking great and we think you should stay tuned as they release more music and we add more music from them to the distro!

Angleworm
We just recently added the first Angleworm LP to the distro so we figured it would be a rad time to drop two of our favorite songs from that album onto this comp. Angleworm has long since gone their own ways, but you can hear what remains of them in the bands Trophy Lungs and Bottlecaps.

We decided to add another from these guys because they're some of the nicest guys we've met along the way and they deserve some open ears! Amrev II
A newer song from Amrev II. These guys are really rad and we've known them for years. They've continued to put out new music and work on so many cool things for the community over the years and we are so stoked to share so many memories with them! RIP to the Ras of D's beard though... poor fella..

Stressbomb
We'll be adding the Stressbomb collection over the next couple of weeks so we figured we should include them on the comp as well. These guys have been all over the place. They've played all over the US and Germany and luckily along the way we ran into them because it made for some of the most fun I've ever had while being in a band!

Grass
Veronica, I thank you for beating the shit out of me.. I can't wait to hear more stuff from these guys. We've played so many shows with them and they just keep getting better and better. They're intense to watch live. I've known Salty and AC for years and I've got nothing but great things to say about both of them. Since adding Andy to the mix and starting Grass they've just really taking over lately and I couldn't be happier about that!

Gloominous Doom
I have known these guys for years and sadly I learned that they were playing their last show and I wanted to include them on the comp because they're really great guys. You owe it to yourself to go check out the tunes. Trust me.. if you dig face melting screaming.. they're for you.

X Hunters
Mega Man X is my favorite SNES game. Nothing compares to it for me. I dig it. The gameplay, the soundtrack, the graphics. I could play through it a billion times and not get bored of it. So it should go without saying that these guys are one of my all time favorite bands. It also helps they used to be known as the Tube Disasters who were the first musical friends I met from being in bands.

Carbomb Creepshow
Eventually I'll run out of Carbomb songs to include on compilations... That day is not today.

FM Waves
We recently added a live album from FM Waves so we included our favorite song on this comp! FM Waves are currently working on new music that should be unleashed any day now.. Any day now!

Mother/Daughter Team
Long before Kite Party there was The Mother/Daughter Team. When John E. Knep and I first got Toxic Sunshine going again we started playing with them because their drummer, Petey, also happened to be John's cousin. We had a blast playing with them. They always put on a great show and they've always played some really unique stuff!

Trevor Gotthardt
It's fairly clear that he's had a rocky last year or so, but that ain't here nor there. He's always put together sweet songs and for that reason alone he'll always be welcome on this distro!

From Philly
We just recently added From Philly to the distro! These guys are great! They'll be releasing some new music as well in the next couple of months and they're currently booking a fest if you'd like to get involved find 'em on the old Facebook and send me some nip pics..
