about

Ah, sit back and relax. Enjoy the fifth installment of the Kill The Locals compilations. This is truly my favorite comp thus far. I'm sure I'll probably say that when the sixth one comes around though too..

Stressbomb
We recently added their final album to our distro so we wanted to include a song from it to the comp to hopefully show off how great of an album it really is. They're one of my favorite bands and also some of favorite people I've met while playing in my band. We couldn't be happier to have them in the Kill The Locals family.

Trophy Lungs
I absolutely love these guys! We met Brenden while we were on tour together. He was in another band called Wolfie Burns. After that band he jumped into Trophy Lungs and they started releasing some of the best music we've ever heard! Go check out their new album on their Bandcamp page!

Bottlecaps
Here's another band we met through Wolfie Burns. This is the project by Brenden and Colin from Wolfie Burns. Their music is absolutely amazing and you'll be doing yourself a favor by going to check it out.

Wolfie Burns
Of course we'd add Wolfie Burns to this release. We threw in some songs from their newer projects so it only made sense to toss in a song from these guys. We had such a blast on the road with them and their music is fucking great! This song is the finished version of a song we released on another comp in its demo form.

Hospital Blues
We met Hospital Blues while on an East Coast tour with Wolfie Burns. They have gone on to release so many amazing songs in the new band Lawson formed, Scrap Kids.

FM Waves
The new album has been worth the wait. FM Waves have been close friends of ours for years now. They recently followed up their album Seasons with their new album, From Small Beginnings. You can check out that out on their page.

The Semi Originals
I know I say it every time Jason Pulieo, Chem D, or The Semi Originals are mentioned, but I can't help it. Jason is the fucking man. Anything he puts out I'm a fan of. This is a single release of theirs and a cover of the amazing, Billy Joel. They're currently working on a new album that should be out within the next couple of months. I'll be waiting anxiously for it!

The Mega Yeah!
How could we not. We hope you enjoy some singles from our upcoming EP titled No Sleep.. No Food.. No Nothing. Just Maniacism!

Jimmi Buskirk
Finally after many years of this sitting unfinished I found some time to finally finish this and release. Nick and I recorded this song back in 2013 and now it's finally done!

Daniel P. Casanova
This is from Dan's release, Grand. Over the years Dan has always worked on his own music and finally in 2012 he decided to start releasing some of it. It began as Dang, which he released some material under and then more recently he has started taking it more seriously with the Daniel P. Casanova releases! He's working on a full album as well, so stay tuned!

Whats Her Face
This is one of the newer additions to the arsenal of Kill The Locals bands. A long time I met Emily Seigrist and we've included some of our music on compilation releases over the years. When I reached out to her last she had informed that she was in a brand new band and I was hooked immediately. This was my favorite and instantly got stuck in my head. Check out some more music from Whats Her Face on their Soundcloud page! Tell 'em Large Marge sent ya!!!

The Loud Company
Enjoy 2 new songs from our old tag team partners, The Loud Company. They've recently released their full length album, Amateur Science. We absolutely loved playing shows with these guys. Hopefully we'll be able to get some in the future. Currently they're relocating to Georgia so wish them luck in their new scene!

The Backyard Superheroes
Another that band that just puts me in a great mood! We met them only a year ago or so. We were playing in Jersey and ran into these guys and hit it off right away. Since meeting them and getting to know them and their music we just don't have enough room to tell you how great they are. Check them out the next time you see a show with them on the flier! You'll thank yourself later.

Shock Value
I fucking love Shock Value. They've long since called it a day, but while they were together they created an impressive batch of songs and put on some fucking great live shows. We've included both of their albums on the distro for all to hear and love.

Trevor Gotthardt
This is an older song T-Bags put out. One of his favorite songs by one of his favorite bands. He always loved performing covers and this has always been one of my favorites of his cover releases. We've included a lot of his releases on the distro as well to hear in full.

Dead End Saints
We'll have a lot of Dead End Saints stuff added to the distro. We met these guys years ago. We played more shows with them than I can't count or remember. Franky is one of the nicest dudes I've ever met. He's been working on many projects over the years aside from Dead End Saints and we hope to be able to have some more on the distro as soon as possible.

The Preps
The Preps came out of retirement back in 2014 and I promise will be releasing new material soon. Here's something to enjoy until the new songs get recorded and released!

Anti-Citizen
These guys are also new to the distro. We were actually referred to these guys by our friend Justin who used to be in the band Zymotic Youth. He asked us to get a hold of them to include them in the next thing we do because he really digs these guys. So, we checked them out and ended up digging them too! We like the old school punk rock sound bringing back the energy of those late 90's bands that conquered the scene for quite awhile. Then we found out they also recorded with Jason from Chem D so we knew they must be good guys if Jason recorded them.

The Mutant Members Only Club
Again, something that I can't get out of my head after listening. The Pizza Monsters were a band that Daniel P. Casanova showed me back in the day and I fell in love with. Tom, the creator of The Pizza Monsters, has since closed up the Pizza Shop and opened business for Mutant Members Only Club. I for one fucking love it. I'm a fan of acoustic guitar, B movies and catchy melodies... And Mutant Members Only Club has all of that!

Amrev II
Here's another band that we've known for years. Amrev has become kind of a staple in the music scene around here. Not only do they contribute music, but they're really involved in the community as well. They're all just stand up guys and girls. They've put out so many albums and EP's over the years so you could spend a whole week checking it all out.... So start now. No time like the present.. Check it out!

Toasted Ghost
When we were looking to include some new material from Heroes and Hooligans we found out that, sadly, they're no long playing music together. Bob is continuing to write music and this is his new project! We are stoked he's still playing! We're also really big fans of the folk direction he's going in. We hope to hear more soon from these guys!

Common Enemy
So, a long time ago we reached out to Common Enemy because we used to love playing shows with them back in the day and they were definitely one of the best bands this area ever produced. They never got back to us so we assumed that meant they wanted nothing to do with it. Then out of nowhere I get an email saying they'd love to be on board with Kill the Locals! We couldn't be fucking happier because aside from the fact I've got so many great memories of these guys... They're music is fucking rad! We're so excited to finally feature them on the distro!
