Ladies and gentleman, the cat in the hat presents, mother fucker! Dr. Seuss And The Acid Factory from Carbomb Creepshow. It is an honor to not only include this in the Kill The Locals distro, but for it to be the very first release made available through the distro.
It was a long time ago, but I can remember it as if it were yesterday. I was sitting in the basement of the house I use to live in when Jeff Kosa and Salty called me and said to go listen to a song they just put up online in their new band with Tyler Merritt called Carbomb Creepshow. They were in a band previously called Organized Kaos so I kind of expected something similar to that. I was pretty fucking wrong.
I listened to the two tracks that came up, Curiosity Killed The Cat and Stranger In A Strange Land and I was instantly fucking hooked. They were brilliant! Danny Casanova showed up moments later and I immediately introduced him to the songs. We were both excited and floored by the music!
We ended up playing countless shows together in 2009 before Carbomb Creepshow broke up in 2010. I have a great sense of pride about that fact that I have owned this CD for so long. I also have a great sense of pride about making it available for everyone to hear through this distro.
